Status of compliance with the law
The website of ICSC PAS (https://herie.pl) is partially compliant with provisions of Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, due to the non-compliances listed below:
  • the website does not support change of font sizes,
  • images published on the website have no alternative description,
  • some files are not accessible digitally.
  • Some graphs are not available digitally.
  • files non-accessible digitally are most frequently documents accessible to the staff members, are not used in tasks currently performed,
  • images having no alternative description are of promotional nature and are not used in tasks currently performed.
The Institute’s present website was created and made operational in 2007. It was updated over many years but, due to an outdated CMS system, its further updating has ceased to be cost-effective. Therefore, as a whole, the website does not comply with all requirements of Act of 4 April 2019. The new website, compliant with accessibility requirements for persons with disabilities, is currently developed. The new website should be ready by end of December 2020.
